Mindfulness at its core is about increasing awareness of the often unappreciated aspects of our daily lives. It is defined as the ability to pay full attention to what is happening around and within us at any given time without criticism or judgment. Developing this skill is linked to improvements in physical and mental well-being, and an increased sense of peace and equanimity in life. This one hour session will combine practice activities with some of the current science and research about mindfulness.
