IDYLLWILD LIBRARY Fireside Book Club ~ Dracula

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Event Details

This month we've moved from the 3rd Wednesday to the 4th Wednesday due to the holiday. We liked Frankenstein so much, we thought we'd like Dracula even better. So please join us on November 28 for this gothic classic.  "The novel tells the story of Dracula's attempt to move from Transylvania to England so he may find new blood and spread undead curse, and the battle between Dracula and a small group of men and women led by Professor Abraham Van Helsing... The novel touches on themes such as the role of women in Victorian culture, sexual conventions, immigration, colonialism, and post-colonialism." ~ from Amazon.

We have a few copies available at the front desk if you are unable to obtain your own.

All are welcome to our book group. We read a variety of books, non-fiction, fiction, light, heavy. Check each month for our new title.
