IDYLLWILD LIBRARY Acting - "The last non-automated art" acting workshop

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Event Details

Why is live acting a holdout? What makes it different? Could you do it or does it take years of training? Is stage fright conquerable? These and other questions will find answers in this 2-hour workshop for first timers and also, experienced actors, ages 16 to 116!! Participate in a demonstration of this not-so-elusive craft. Learn what lies at the heart of it. See why good acting is instantly recognizable - in any language- and fun to do, once you get the hang of it. Facilitated by new resident Broadway award-winning actress, director & teacher, Jenny Egan, former director, NY Shakespeare Festival & Master Teacher of acting at SMU.
