Bring your lunch and join Dick Goldberg and others for a science themed presentation and discussion. The discussion will center around the works of Nobel Prize winner Kary Mullis (1944-2019), an American Biochemist. In recognition for his invention of the Polymerase Chain Reaction technique, he shared the 1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Michael Smith, and also was awarded the Japan Prize the same year. You can read more about him on his website:

"Science, like nothing else among the institutions of mankind, grows like a weed every year. Art is subject to arbitrary fashion, religion is inwardly focused and driven only to sustain itself, law shuttles between freeing us and enslaving us." ~ Kary Banks Mullis
