The quote from Eric Weiner in the book "The Geography of Bliss":
"Humans, even nomadic ones, need a sense of home. Home need not be one place or any place at all, but every home has two essential elements: a sense of community and, even more, important, a history."
From this quote by the author of "The Geography of Bliss," it is clear that Idyllwild excels on both counts as a special village community with both its unique sense of community and history. Now in these unusual times, we need to come together even more to express what this significance means and how we can work together to enhance even more all the lives of all of those who share this deep connection to the 'Hill.'
The sessions will include discussion, interaction and writing to further clarify this legacy of Idyllwild in our lives and for posterity. Writing in these sessions will be from short and simple exercises to gain further this understanding."
This writing workshop is part of a four-part series sponsored by the Friends of the Idyllwild Library.
