All skill levels are welcome at Calimesa Library's weekly Knitting and Crochet Club. This club meets every Saturday at 10am. We have very talented volunteers that can help new and experienced knitters and crocheters perfect their craft! Be sure to bring crochet hooks/knitting needles in your preferred size.
Academically accomplished teen assist children with mathematics and other school subjects in this free program. Children should bring something to demonstrate what they need help with such as a book or examples of problems. If any tools are needed such as graph paper, rulers, protractors, crayons or other color coding implements they child should provide them. If work is to be done on the computer a USB drive will be needed to save the work.
Calling ahead is not required but sometimes advantageous for planning purposes.
VITA FREE TAX preparation will be provided every Saturday at the Highgrove Library on a first come first serve. Highgrove Library is in partnership with the County of Riverside Community Action Partnership VITA PROGRAM. If you earned less than $70K in 2018 and had no business losses or rental income you qualify! Taxes will be done in the R.A. "Barney" & Ardie Barnett Community room starting at 10:00am to 2:00pm, please go to the front desk to be added to the waiting list. For more information please call 951-682-1507. Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides free tax preparation services for individuals with low to moderate incomes. VITA tax preparers are IRS certified and trained.
2019 AARP Tax-Aide will provide free tax help for taxpayers with low and middle income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. No appointments required. Walk-ins welcome. Please bring all your tax documentations, IDs and SS cards.
Tax Help is provided by CAP VITA (Community Action Partnership of Riverside County - volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) on a walk-in basis, No appointments are necessary. Saturdays starting JAN 26th through APR 13th. Hours are 10:30AM - 3:30pm.
