LA QUINTA LIBRARY Composting in Small Spaces (Ages 18+)

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Event Details

Food scraps and yard waste together make up about 30% of what we throw away, and could instead be composted. Making compost keeps these materials out of landfills where they take up space and release methane, a potent greenhouse gas.
Learn how to create a self-contained compost to fit your space with Jerry L'Hommedieu of the UCCE Master Gardener Speakers Bureau.
